I have been putting off learning how to sew and I don’t know why. Well, I do, but it’s kind of embarassing. I was afraid. Afraid of getting my hand eaten or of just breaking it by doing one insignificant thing. But… it’s not as hard as I thought it would be! Sewing machines are pretty sophisticated. Am I telling you something you don’t know? No? Well, let’s move on then!
There isn’t a lot of room for anger while sewing. It’s not practical. Knitting, yes, but sewing, no. Knitting doesn’t threaten to puncture bloody holes in my person, so…
The drapes above are decorative and match my purple wall.
I think they are just lovely! The light can come through pretty harshly, so these will let it in while diffusing it a bit. Woot! Woot!
I doubled up the fabric for the bathroom. They match my floor mat perfectly! (You can see how much I loathe the color purple. )
That’s it! I now know how to sew! And I broke a needle, so all is not lost in the anger/destruction/punk rock department!! (lol)
